The past few weeks we see more and more adoption by banks, funds, public and private companies. It seems the general public is slowly awakening to the idea of Bitcoin. I even overheard a small discussion about Bitcoin out in public last week at a my kids' sports practice, which was a first. If you watch CNBC, Fox Business or Bloomberg you can’t help but notice the increase in mention of Bitcoin or Crypto the last few months.
A spotlight was placed on Bitcoin via The Bitcoin Conference held a few weeks ago in Nashville where two potential presidential candidates spoke. Whatever your politics, the presence of two presidential candidates at The Bitcoin Conference and their speeches brought attention to Bitcoin around the world. Any normie who watched part of their speeches had to at least wonder what Bitcoin is all about and why two presidential candidates made an effort to represent at the conference.
It really was a pivotal moment for Bitcoin, bringing it in from the fringe to the main stage where citizens and world leaders everywhere couldn’t help but take notice. You’ll probably start to hear it come up more in your everyday convos, so be ready. Even if you don’t know much about it, that’s ok and that’s why we created Bitcoin Brunch.
